VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO CONGRATULATE MORA ROGERS OF LEXINGTON UPON HER RETIREMENT AFTER FORTY YEARS OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE EDUCATION OF THE YOUNG CHILDREN OF LEXINGTON COUNTY, TO COMMEND HER FOR HER HARD WORK AND DEDICATION, AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL OF HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, Mrs. Mora Rogers, a graduate of Columbia College, began her career in education many years ago as a teacher at Lexington High School; and
Whereas, after leaving Lexington High School, Mrs. Rogers started a kindergarten called the "Little Red School House" with a first class of fifteen children; and
Whereas, Mrs. Rogers is retiring the "Little Red School House" after forty years of exceptional service to the Lexington community; and
Whereas, through her commitment to education, Mrs. Rogers has provided an excellent learning environment for many children in Lexington County. Now she will have more time to spend with her husband and children; and
Whereas, we are proud to honor Mrs. Mora Rogers for her many years of outstanding work with young children. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate Mora Rogers of Lexington upon her retirement after forty years of contributions to the education of the young children of Lexington County, commend her for her hard work and dedication, and wish her much success and happiness in all of her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mora Rogers of Lexington.
