A SENATE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING JAMES DONALD CANADAY ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM LAFARGE NORTH AMERICA IN DORCHESTER COUNTY AFTER THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE AND WISHING HIM WELL IN THE NEXT CHAPTER OF HIS LIFE.

Whereas, James Donald Canaday has given thirty years of dedicated service to Lafarge North America; and

Whereas, his loyalty to the concrete engineering business located in Harleyville, South Carolina, has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated by his fellow workers and supervisors; and

Whereas, the Dorchester County community is also the beneficiary of the diligent hard-working folks like Mr. Canaday who strive to ensure the continued success of the Lafarge operation in the low country of South Carolina; and

Whereas, James Donald Canaday has earned a long and restful retirement after his thirty years of productive employment. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate James Donald Canaday on his retirement from Lafarge North America in Dorchester County after thirty years of service and wish him well in the next chapter of his life.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to James Donald Canaday.
