Our thought for today is from II Chronicles 2:12: "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth."
Let us pray. Lord, You have given us so much. Help us to share what we have and to receive in gratitude whatever we are given. Help us to use the gifts given to us in doing the work of the State. Sustain and provide our leaders of this State and Nation with wisdom and understanding. Protect our defenders of freedom from all harm. Hear our prayer, in Your name. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
