ESTIMATED FISCAL IMPACT ON GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES:

ESTIMATED FISCAL IMPACT ON FEDERAL & OTHER FUND EXPENDITURES IS:

$0 (No additional expenditures or savings are expected)

EXPLANATION OF IMPACT:

The Public Service Commission indicates there will be no fiscal impact on the General Fund of the State, nor on federal and/or other funds.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT IMPACT:

Two municipalities indicated no impact. One indicated enactment would result in a positive impact.

A BILL

TO REPEAL SECTION 27-33-50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO RESPONSIBILITIES OF LANDLORDS AND TENANTS FOR UTILITIES, WATER, SEWERAGE, AND GARBAGE SERVICES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 27-33-50 of the 1976 Code is repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
