INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S. 823) to request the Department of Transportation to name a newly constructed road in Lexington County which connects South Carolina Highway No. 1 to South Carolina Highway No. 6 around the newly constructed, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ROAD IN LEXINGTON COUNTY WHICH CONNECTS SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY NO. 1 TO SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY NO. 6 AROUND THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED LEXINGTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE "MYERS WAY" AND INSTALL APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS ON THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ROAD.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly request the Department of Transportation to name a newly constructed road in Lexington County which connects South Carolina Highway No. 1 to South Carolina Highway No. 6, approximately two blocks long, around the newly constructed Lexington County Courthouse "Myers Way" and install appropriate markers or signs on the newly constructed road.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
