AN ACT TO ABOLISH THE LOCKHART SCHOOL DISTRICT HEALTH COMMISSION IN UNION COUNTY AND TO REPEAL ACT 1171 OF 1948 ESTABLISHING THIS HEALTH COMMISSION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Commission abolished

SECTION    1.    The Lockhart School District Health Commission in Union County is abolished. The governing body of the Union County School District shall be responsible for any actions necessary to close out the affairs of the commission.

Repeal

SECTION    2.    Act 1171 of 1948 is repealed.

Time effective

SECTION    3.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 2nd day of June, 2005.

Approved the 7th day of June, 2005.
