AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 49-29-230, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CERTAIN SCENIC RIVER DESIGNATIONS, SO AS TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF THE LITTLE PEE DEE RIVER AS A SCENIC RIVER.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Additional scenic river designation

SECTION    1.    Section 49-29-230 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 222 of 2002, is further amended to read:

"(8)    that portion of the Little Pee Dee River located in Dillon County between the Marlboro County Line and the Marion County line;"

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 28th day of April, 2005.

Approved the 3rd day of May, 2005.
