VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
RECOGNIZING THE ACADEMIC PROWESS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT OF THE STUDENTS OF WHITE KNOLL HIGH SCHOOL IN LEXINGTON COUNTY WHO RECEIVED STATEWIDE DECA AWARDS IN MARKETING COMPETITION IN CHARLESTON RECENTLY, AND WISHING THEM AND THEIR TEACHERS AND ADVISORS, CARL VADASZ AND APRIL BRAGG, WELL AS THEY COMPETE ON THE NATIONAL LEVEL APRIL 27-30, 2005, IN ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA.
Whereas, White Knoll High School in Lexington County boasts a successful marking, management, and entrepreneurial DECA program, led by advisors, Carl Vadasz and April Bragg; and
Whereas, the DECA students participated in statewide marketing competitions recently in Charleston, where they captured twelve first places, eight second places, and three third places; and
Whereas, the following students won state DECA Awards in Marketing competition:

Whereas, all of the winners have the extraordinary opportunity April 27-30 in Anaheim, California, to further distinguish themselves in the spotlight of national competition and we wish them well; and
Whereas, these students and the DECA program and their advisers have brought great pride and honor to themselves, their school, and the State and the members of the South Carolina General Assembly are pleased to have the opportunity to recognize such outstanding students and South Carolinians. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, recognize the academic prowess and entrepreneurial spirit of the students of White Knoll High School in Lexington County who received statewide DECA Awards in Marketing competition in Charleston recently, and wish them and their teacher and advisors, Carl Vadasz and April Bragg well as they compete on the national level April 27-30, 2005, in Anaheim, California.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to White Knoll Principal Mike Stacey and DECA advisers Carl Vadasz and April Bragg on behalf of the DECA program at White Knoll High School.
