TO CONGRATULATE THE MAULDIN HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING TEAM OF GREENVILLE COUNTY ON ITS IMPRESSIVE 2005 STATE CLASS AAAA CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AND TO HONOR THE CHEERLEADERS AND THEIR COACHES BETTY MITCHELL, BETH WARD, AND SCOTT FOSTER ON AN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON.

Whereas, a championship caliber cheerleading squad demands strength, flexibility, and timeliness, as well as trust, spirit, talent, and teamwork; and

Whereas, the ladies of Mauldin High School captured their second consecutive state cheerleading championship and third in four years; and

Whereas, each of these ladies has grown into a true champion and has learned to do the best with her natural abilities; and

Whereas, the accomplishments of the Mauldin cheerleaders this year have brought deserved credit not only upon themselves and their coaches but upon their school and community as well; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, take great pride in commending the young ladies of the Mauldin cheerleading squad for their superior efforts, great determination, and super accomplishments during an outstanding season and recognize them for being model student athletes. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
