A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NAME THE OVERPASS LOCATED ON I-95 WHERE IT INTERSECTS WITH SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 378 IN SUMTER COUNTY THE "SENIOR TROOPER JONATHAN W. PARKER MEMORIAL OVERPASS", AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS ALONG I-95 AND HIGHWAY 378.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly request the Department of Transportation to name the overpass on I-95 where it intersects with South Carolina Highway 378 in Sumter County the "Senior Trooper Jonathan W. Parker Memorial Overpass" and erect appropriate markers or signs along I-95 and Highway 378 that contain the words "Senior Trooper Jonathan W. Parker Memorial Overpass".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
