A SENATE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING ROBIN MILL FOR BEING NAMED 2008 MIDDLE LEVEL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS.

Whereas, Robin Mill exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding administrator; and

Whereas, Robin Mill has been an educator for over seventeen years, serving as a Spanish teacher at Mauldin High school before becoming assistant principal at Berea Middle School in 2003; and

Whereas, Robin Mill is site coordinator for the Youth Court and lead administrator of the Positive Behavior Intervention Supports Program (PBIS) at Berea Middle School. The PBIS program puts focus on students and faculty "doing the right thing", decreasing discipline referrals by more than four hundred in the past two years; and

Whereas, Robin Mill was named 2008 Middle Level Assistant Principal of the Year by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate congratulate Robin Mill for being named 2008 Middle Level Assistant Principal of the Year by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Robin Mill.
