AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 1095 OF 1962, RELATING TO THE LOWER FLORENCE COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT, TO PROVIDE THAT THE DISTRICT SHALL BE COMPRISED OF THAT PORTION OF FLORENCE COUNTY THAT IS SOUTH OF THE LYNCHES RIVER.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
District boundaries changed
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Act 1095 of 1962 is amended to read:
"Section 2. There is hereby created in Florence County a hospital district to be known as 'Lower Florence County Hospital District'. The district shall be comprised of that portion of Florence County that is south of the Lynches River.
Prior to the issuance of the bonds authorized by the act, and in order to enable the Auditor of Florence County to ascertain precisely what property lies within the hospital district, a definite survey shall be made of the area comprising the district, which shall be effected by utilizing the description set forth in this section. Such plat, when prepared and certified, shall be filed in the offices of the Auditor, the Treasurer, and the Clerk of Court, respectively, for Florence County."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
