TO EXTEND THE PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE NEWBERRY COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM, COACHES, AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS, AT A DATE AND TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY THE SPEAKER, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING THEM FOR CAPTURING THE 2006 SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE AND FOR THEIR SEASON-ENDING NATIONAL RANKING OF NUMBER TWELVE IN THE AMERICAN FOOTBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION'S TOP TWENTY-FIVE POLL.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the privilege of the floor of the South Carolina House of Representatives be extended to the Newberry College football team, coaches, and school officials, at a date and time to be determined by the Speaker, for the purpose of recognizing and commending them for capturing the 2006 South Atlantic Conference Championship title and for their season-ending national ranking of number twelve in the American Football Coaches Association's Top Twenty-Five Poll.
