AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE TERMS OF OFFICE OF ELECTED MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF FLORENCE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUR ARE INCREASED FROM THREE TO FOUR YEARS FOR ALL TRUSTEES ELECTED BEGINNING WITH ELECTIONS HELD ON AND AFTER 2007.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Terms increased

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the terms of office of elected members of the Board of Trustees of Florence County School District Four are increased from three to four years for all trustees elected beginning with elections held on and after 2007.

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 26th day of April, 2007.

Approved the 1st day of May, 2007.
