A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 7-13-365 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE ENTITY CHARGED BY LAW WITH CONDUCTING AN ELECTION TO PREPARE ONE BALLOT FOR ALL ELECTIONS HELD AT THE SAME TIME.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Article 3, Chapter 13, Title 7 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 7-13-365.    When more than one election is conducted on the same day, the entity charged by law with conducting the elections shall prepare one ballot for all elections conducted on that day."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
