A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND THE OUTSTANDING STUDENTS OF HARLEYVILLE-RIDGEVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR THEIR INDUCTION INTO THE FIRST CLASS OF THE JUNIOR BETA CLUB IN RECOGNITION OF THEIR IMPRESSIVE SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENTS, AND TO WISH THEM THE BEST IN ALL FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives take great pride in honoring those South Carolina youth who excel in scholastic activities; and

Whereas, a group of exceptional students from Harleyville-Ridgeville Elementary School in Dorchester County have earned great distinction as Junior Beta Club inductees; and

Whereas, the National Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages involvement, recognizes achievement, and provides technological advances to students in grades five through twelve; and

Whereas, the Junior Division of the National Beta Club includes grades five through nine; and

Whereas, members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are certain that induction into the Junior Beta Club is but one of the first of many accolades and honors these students will achieve throughout their lifetime. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commend the outstanding students of Harleyville-Ridgeville Elementary School for their induction into the first class of the Junior Beta Club in recognition of their impressive scholastic achievements, and wish them the best in all future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. Morris Ravenell, Principal of Harleyville-Ridgeville Elementary School.
