A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE THE USE OF THE SENATE CHAMBERS IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE HOUSE ON FEBRUARY 22, 2007, AT 2:00 P.M. SO AS TO CONDUCT A CEREMONY HONORING THE LATE CONGRESSMAN FLOYD SPENCE AND TO UNVEIL HIS PORTRAIT TO HANG IN THE SENATE CHAMBERS.

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina authorize the use of the Senate Chambers in the South Carolina State House on February 22, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. so as to conduct a ceremony honoring the late Congressman Floyd Spence and to unveil his portrait to hang in the Senate Chambers.

Be it further resolved that the House, Senate, and State House security provide assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with applicable procedure and rules.
