The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator LEATHERMAN. (This is a Statewide Session day established under the provisions of Senate Rule 1B. Members not having scheduled committee or subcommittee meetings may be in their home districts without effect on their session attendance record.)

H. 5300 (Word version) -- Ways and Means Committee: A BILL TO AMEND ACT 310 OF 2008, THE GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009, SO AS TO ENACT TARGETED REDUCTIONS IN GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATIONS AND TO MAKE NECESSARY CONFORMING PROVISO AMENDMENTS AND PROVIDE FOR OTHER RELATED MATTERS.

Read the first time and referred to the Committee on Finance.

REPORT OF STANDING COMMITTEE

Senator LEATHERMAN from the Committee on Finance submitted a favorable report on:
