A JOINT RESOLUTION

DIRECTING THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES WHEN ADJUSTING ITS BUDGET IN RESPONSE TO REVENUE REDUCTIONS TO MAINTAIN FUNDING FOR HOSPICE SERVICES AT THE LEVEL IN PLACE ON DECEMBER 31, 2008.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    The Department of Health and Human Services when adjusting its budget in response to revenue reductions shall maintain funding for hospice services at the level in place on December 31, 2008.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
