A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE FIRST TECH CHALLENGE ROBOTICS TEAMS FROM THE ANDERSON DISTRICTS 1 AND 2 CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER ON THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND TO WISH THE STUDENTS MUCH SUCCESS IN THEIR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the FIRST Tech Challenge is a high school level robotics program that names a challenge for which students from all over the world build a robot made from the same kit of parts; and

Whereas, the Anderson Districts 1 and 2 Career and Technology Center had two teams on the winning alliance at the state tournament held at South Carolina State University; and

Whereas, and Career and Technology Center had a third team receive the FIRST robotics highest honor, the Inspire Award; and

Whereas, the Inspire Award is presented to the team the judges felt truly embodied the challenge of the FIRST Tech Challenge program; and

Whereas, the Inspire Award winning team serves as an inspiration as to what the FTC program and the young minds involved can accomplish and best represents a role model FIRST Tech Challenge team. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the Senate of South Carolina congratulates the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics teams from the Anderson Districts 1 and 2 Career and Technology Center on their accomplishments and wishes the students much success in their future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anderson School Districts 1 and 2 Career and Technology Center.
