A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES RENAME THE JAMES R. METTS LANDING ON THE SALUDA RIVER IN LEXINGTON COUNTY THE HOPE FERRY LANDING AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE SIGNS AND MARKERS.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly request that the Department of Transportation and the Department of Natural Resources rename the James R. Metts Landing on the Saluda River in Lexington County the Hope Ferry Landing and erect appropriate markers or signs at the landing containing the words "Hope Ferry Landing".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation and the Department of Natural Resources.
