VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR HARRIET WILSON UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT ON JUNE 30, 2017, AFTER A DISTINGUISHED TENURE OF EXEMPLARY SERVICE AND TO WISH HER CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, it is altogether fitting and proper that the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina should pause in their deliberations to express their gratitude to Harriet Wilson for her significant contributions to the children of Seven Oaks Elementary School; and
Whereas, Harriet has dedicated her expertise, intelligence, and skills to the development and education of children in Lexington County. Her inexhaustible spirit has led to a long career in this field; and
Whereas, prior to serving as the principal of Seven Oaks Elementary School, Harriet was the principal at Chapin Elementary School and Leaphart Elementary School for a total of seventeen years; and
Whereas, her sunny demeanor will be greatly missed as she takes time for herself in retirement. Her presence has brightened the future of many boys and girls; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are grateful for the years of unparalleled dedication that Harriet has devoted to the children of Lexington County and wish her many years of enjoyment in her well-earned retirement. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor Harriet Wilson upon the occasion of her retirement on June 30, 2017, after a distinguished tenure of exemplary service and wish her continued success and happiness in all her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Harriet Wilson.
