TO CONGRATULATE MYRA GIBSON UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT AS BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR IN OCONEE COUNTY'S HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, TO COMMEND HER FOR HER NEARLY TWENTY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO OCONEE COUNTY, AND TO WISH HER MUCH HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT IN THE YEARS AHEAD.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize Myra Gibson upon the occasion of her retirement from Oconee County's Human Resources Department on April 2, 2022; and
Whereas, Mrs. Gibson was originally hired in the Oconee County Treasurer's office in 2003 and she joined the Human Resources Department in May of 2006; and
Whereas, Mrs. Gibson worked in the Planning Department for six months at the end of 2006, and then in 2007 she returned to Human Resources, where she worked until her retirement; and
Whereas, Mrs. Gibson is married to Mark Gibson of Seneca and together, they have one son, Jonathan Elliott, who serves our country in the military reserves, and she has three grandchildren; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate appreciate the passion and dedication that Myra Gibson has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Myra Gibson upon the occasion of her retirement as benefits administrator in Oconee County's Human Resources Department, commend her for her nearly twenty years of dedicated service to Oconee County, and wish her much happiness and fulfillment in the years ahead.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Myra Gibson.
