A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO NOMINATE MR. WILLIAM INMAN TO SERVE ON THE SAVANNAH RIVER SITE RESEARCH AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

Whereas, the Savannah River Site Research Authority was established pursuant to Section 31-12-40(A) of the 1976 Code; and

Whereas, the Savannah River Site Research Authority is governed by a board of directors nominated and appointed pursuant to Section 31-12-40(C); and

Whereas, two of the seats on the Savannah River Site Research Authority Board of Directors are appointed by the Governor upon a nomination by a majority of the Senate and a majority of the House of Representatives; and

Whereas, the term for one of those two legislatively nominated seats has expired; and

Whereas, by this concurrent resolution, a majority of the Senate and majority of the House of Representatives are making a nomination to the Governor for a seat on the Savannah River Site Research Authority Board of Directors. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That a majority of the Senate and a majority of the House of Representatives do hereby nominate for a seat on the Savannah River Site Research Authority Board of Directors:

Initial Appointment, Savannah River Site Research Authority, for the term that commenced October 21, 2018, and will expire October 21, 2022.

Be it further resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

Reappointment, Savannah River Site Research Authority, with the term to commence October 21, 2022, and to expire October 21, 2026.
