Rep. SELLERS proposes the following Amendment No. 67 to H.3700 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: Prevents the Director of Health and Human Services from reducing provider rates to Hospitals operating in a deficit.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 21, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, page 387, after line 17, by adding an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:
/ (DHHS: Deficit Hospitals) For the Fiscal Year 2011-2012, the director of the State Medicaid Program shall not reduce provider rates to Hospitals that are operating in a deficit./

Renumber sections to conform.
Amend totals and titles to conform.
