Senator MARTIN proposed the following amendment (290R007.SP.SRM):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered new SECTION to read:

/SECTION __. A health care facility is prohibited from requiring a person to be vaccinated to prevent coronavirus disease 2019, commonly referred to as COVID-19, as a condition of employment. If a current employee chooses not to undergo vaccination, then the person's employer may not subject the person to an adverse employment action, including, but not limited to, a termination, suspension, involuntary reassignment, or demotion. /
