Rep. WATERS proposes the following amendment (LC-4757.WAB0006H):
Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, Section 59-28-340, by adding a subsection to read:
(D) Nothing in this section prohibits a healthcare provider from performing medically necessary evaluation, examination, or stabilization related to a report of suspected abuse or neglect made pursuant to Title 63, even if the circumstances do not meet the definition of emergency.Renumber sections to conform.
