Rep. LONG proposes the following amendment (LC-4763.HA0003H):
Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, Section 16-3-1092, by adding a subsection to read:
(D) Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, an emergency medical care provider must make a reasonable effort to ensure a parent, guardian, or appropriate family member has given consent to medical treatment as provided for by law.Renumber sections to conform.
