Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:

SECTION X. Notwithstanding another provision of law, a special election required to fill a vacancy created on March 17, 2026, must be held on June 9, 2026.

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend title to conform.
