Current Amendment: 2 to Bill 454

Reps. GARVIN, WATERS, and COBB-HUNTER proposes the following amendment (LC-454.WAB0002H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 3, Section 59-40-55, by adding a subsection to read:

 (F) Each statewide authorizer may authorize one school whose sole purpose is to educate adult students over eighteen years of age. Each authorizer may authorize no more than one such school, and the school may receive state appropriated funding for no more than one hundred students. The adult students shall be eligible to receive a state high school diploma.
