Rep. WATERS proposes the following amendment (LC-416.SA0001H):
Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 5, by striking Section 59-63-610(13) and inserting:
(13) "Reasonable physical force" means the minimum amount of force necessary for an educator to protect himself, or others, or personal or school property from harm in response to violent student behavior. This definition does not include or allow for the application of physical force as a form or means of discipline.Renumber sections to conform.
