| EXPLANATION: Allow retired school bus drivers to return to work without affecting their monthly retirement allowance. |
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 108, PUBLIC EMPLOYEE BENEFIT AUTHORITY, page 499, after line 35, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:
/ (PEBA: School Bus Driver Return to Work) FOR COMPENSATION EARNED DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, THE EARNINGS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO A RETIRED MEMBER OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEM OR THE POLICE OFFICERS RETIREMENT SYSTEM WHO IS HIRED BY A PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT AS A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER. /

Amend totals and titles to conform.
