Rep. JONES proposes the following amendment (LC-5683.DG0026H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:

SECTION X. Chapter 19, Title 7 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:

 Section 7-19-130. The General Assembly may not redistrict congressional districts unless there is a post-decennial census reapportionment, court order, or constitutional necessity has been demonstrated.

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend title to conform.
