AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-13-1192, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO NONGAME FISHING DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED IN THE FRESHWATERS OF THE STATE, SO AS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF TROTLINES WHICH MAY BE USED IN LAKE SECESSION FROM ONE HUNDRED HOOKS MAXIMUM TO ONE HUNDRED FIFTY HOOKS MAXIMUM PER LICENSE HOLDER.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Trot lines in Lake Secession

SECTION 1. That portion of Section 50-13-1192 of the 1976 Code, as added by Act 170 of 1981, dealing with Lake Secession is amended to read:

"Lake Secession:

Traps Maximum two per license holder

Trotlines One hundred fifty hooks maximum per

license holder (three-line maximum)".

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
