A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING OUR SORROW TO OUR COLLEAGUE, REPRESENTATIVE MOLLY MITCHELL SPEARMAN, ON THE DEATH OF HER MOTHER, MRS. LENORA WERTS MITCHELL OF SALUDA COUNTY.

Whereas, it was with great sadness that we learned of the death last year of Mrs. Lenora Werts Mitchell of Saluda County, the mother of our friend and distinguished colleague in the General Assembly, Representative Molly Mitchell Spearman, and the wife of Public Service Commissioner Rudolph Mitchell; and

Whereas, we want Representative Spearman, her father, and all of Mrs. Mitchell's relatives and many friends to know that they are uppermost in our thoughts and have our sincerest sympathy concerning the death of this fine lady. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That we, the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow to our colleague, Representative Molly Mitchell Spearman, on the death of her mother, Mrs. Lenora Werts Mitchell of Saluda County.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Representative Spearman.
