A JOINT RESOLUTION TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION, OFFICE OF ELEVATOR AND AMUSEMENT RIDE SAFETY, RELATING TO NEW AND EXISTING FACILITIES, PLATFORM AND STAIRWAY CHAIR LIFTS, SUMP PUMPS OR DRAINS IN ELEVATOR PITS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2464, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Regulations approved
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Office of Elevator and Amusement Ride Safety, relating to new and existing facilities, platform and stairway chair lifts, sump pumps or drains in elevator pits, designated as Regulation Document Number 2464, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 23rd day of March, 2000.
Approved the 29th day of March, 2000.
