NO. 9
REGULAR SESSION BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023
________
The House assembled at 12:00 noon.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Daniel 10:18: "Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. He said, do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed. Peace, be strong now, be strong."
Let us pray. We pray our prayers because we need help from the one who made us and gives us the strength to carry the burdens of the day and the days ahead. With these powerful words, guide these women and men to carry our duties assigned to them. Bless our defenders of freedom and first responders as they care for us. Cause Your blessings to be upon our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, Staff, and all who contribute to this great cause. Bless our men and women who serve in the Armed Forces. Keep them safe and alert. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
